Graduate Certificate in Business (Applied Finance)

The applied finance specialisation in the Graduate Certificate in Business is designed to provide foundation knowledge, research and skills appropriate to financial professions. The focus of the applied finance major is on the preparation of graduates for entry into financial professions. Applied finance is concerned with the operation of capital markets and the interaction between these markets and other economic units such as businesses, households, financial institutions and governments. The Graduate Certificate in Business is an excellent re-introduction to tertiary learning and an opportunity to update skills or, as one-quarter of the Master of Business program, a pathway to higher level study.
